For 80 years the hallmark of the Regan family – service excellence. Today their Northeast Pest Control business continues expanding services and reaching toward ever higher standards of service excellence through customer satisfaction assurance.

The Regan family’s local business history began with Great Grandpa Edward F. Regan who in 1930 established Regan Washer Co. in Troy, New York. Following WWII, the elder Regan was joined by three sons (all veterans) who together in the 1950’s added major home appliance sales while continuing their strong focus on award winning service. Expanding twice to facilitate growth in downtown Troy, this Regan enterprise was serving thousands in the capital district region and beyond. The Regan family celebrated a fifty-year business anniversary in 1980.

That same year Richard J. Regan launched Northeast Pest Control, focusing on concerns for environmental stewardship as well as business development. He had just completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Technology/Environmental Studies at SUNY in Albany and Hudson Valley Community College.

“Our service excellence theme provides a great service experience for all clients. We assess all services on a continuous basis and consider no effort too good for our clients. Continuous education on structural pests, pesticide safety, and service excellence assessment create our family’s team effort in providing effective service programs,” says Regan.

Today the Regan Family legacy is stronger than ever with a dedicated energetic staff, well trained and committed to the protection and safety of each client’s family and property. “It’s an honor for our family to protect your family” says Regan. Northeast Pest Control currently employs ten certified professional service excellence providers along with five office and field account representatives.

In 2010 the fourth generation of Regan entrepreneurs are fully establishing themselves. Kevin Regan began providing pest management services ten years ago when he joined the firm full time and currently is Northeast Pest Control’s financial director. Christopher Regan, with seven years of full time service experience, is a youthful service excellence manager. “At 25, I get ribbed about my age, but I know all clients appreciate our professional service excellence. Give us a try,” says Christopher.
